Horn - Book Launch!

My viral campaign must be working. My very non-fantasy reading office coworker just asked me out of the blue if this weekend I was launching my new book, and was it Horn and then she said, "I really want to read that!"

So if you really want to read it, the only place to get advance copies, unless you preorder is:

by Peter M Ball

Book Launch - 5.30pm, Sunday June 7th, Conjecture, Adelaide

There’s a dead girl in a dumpster and a unicorn on the loose – and no-one knows how bad that combination can get better than Miriam Aster. What starts as a consulting job for city homicide quickly becomes a tangled knot of unexpected questions, and working out the link between the dead girl and the unicorn will draw Aster back into the world of the exiled fey she thought she’d left behind ten years ago. All in all, Miriam Aster isn’t happy. The last time she worked a case like this it cost her a badge, a partner, and her life.

This time things are going to get much, much worse.

I've just realised that I have never ever been to a con without catsparx. Every single one, including all the Swancons I've been to, have had Cat's loud and bossy self there organising things and yelling at people. Making things happen. Telling me how to do things. Taking photos. Introducing people. Drinking and laughing with me.

Thinking of you Cat, missing you terribly and wishing for far better situations in which you would be at Natcon.

Much love.
