It's Monday ... and I don't want it to be

Or rather - it's already Monday afternoon and soon it will be mid-week. Already.

Anyway. Spent the morning hustling, as seems to be my MO of late. Hustling for a job and for funding. Sigh. At least we are being heard, in some arenas. We'll see if in the end it comes to anything.

I got my contract extension from July 1 to Sept 30 last week. Not that I like the slow and steady putting off of decision making. But I do like the idea of being employed in my current position and salary until then. Again, we'll see.

I had a brief panicky moment late last night - it probably felt wrong to be so relaxed and laissez faire :) As a result I've changed some of my immediate goals and the way I am looking and approaching things. Again. We'll see how that goes.

I left my diary at work over the weekend and having been reunited this morning, I see that I have a busy week. As usual, there is much to do, lots to catch up with. Life is good.

I finally managed to pick up the rest of the book print runs for New Ceres Nights and for Horn. Am looking forward to sending them out into the world of independent bookstores.
