I've been rung twice now by the Australian Election Commission to do some poll they are doing on how the Australian public is informed about our process. They wanted to speak to someone between 18 and 24 and then they were happy to speak to me. But what's interesting is that there was a section of the questions that were completely not aimed at me - AEC advertising to inform voters --> I don't watch commercial TV, listen to the radio or read newspapers. And when I talked about the ads I had seen - by Get UP! on the internet - they had never heard of Get Up! So ... I'm guessing they're even less in touch with 18 - 24 year olds?
